Contracts may specify particular actions, guidelines, and limitations that both parties accept for a predetermined period.

Contracts sometimes indicate a lifetime commitment, while other times, they cover a predetermined period of time. They can be applied exclusively to sexual situations or all facets of a partnership, such as a 24-hour TPE relationship.
