A cuckcake consists of at least two female players in a subtype of cuckolding known as cuckqueaning. A heterosexual pair with the woman in the dominant role and the guy in the submissive role typically makes up a standard cuckolding scene. While he is left defenseless, another submissive man, known as the "bull," engages in sexual relations with the dominant female spouse, frequently in front of the submissive (in this case, the cuckold).

A female known as a cuckcake is the bull's counterpart in a cuckqueaning scene. Consensually, the cuckquean, or submissive, is made to watch the cuckcake engage in sexual activity with the cuckquean's partner, who may or may not be a man.
