Gerbiling
An unproven sexual practice known as "gerbiling" involves inserting live animals—such as gerbils, mice, hamsters, or rats—into the human rectum for sex. Since no first-hand accounts or peer-reviewed medical literature have been found to describe gerbils as one of the numerous foreign objects that are removed from people's rectums in emergency rooms each year, most people still think that gerbiling is an urban legend, despite a few attempts to confirm whether it is a legitimate practice.
The gerbiling is also said to be a bigoted myth that is meant to disparage gay men and anal theater in general.
The bottom line? Nobody has ever stuck a gerbil in their ass, and it might not even be feasible.
More About Gerbiling
Gerbiling, according to many, is extremely unlikely. The sharp teeth and claws of most rodents would seriously damage—rather than amuse—fragile rectal tissue. Most people have dismissed gerbiling as an urban legend despite the fact that people put a lot of dangerous objects into their rectums and wind up in the ER as a result.
Anything placed in the rectum should, in general, be clean and sanitizeable, have a base that is sufficiently large to prevent it from vanishing into the rectum, and not have any sharp edges.
