The Backdoor Explorers' Guide to Anal Sex
Let's talk anal. Yep, we said anal!
We assume that if you've found this article, you've undoubtedly thought about butt stuff at least once. You've arrived at the proper location, whether you're entirely prepared to give it a try or you're simply interested! Backdoor play may appear scary, but it just requires a lot of lube and a little preparation to enter the enjoyable world of anal intercourse.
Communicate
Communication will always be the most critical factor in sex and relationships, and this is especially true when trying anything new in the bedroom. Before, during, and after any new sexual experience, don't be afraid to express your desires and concerns. This will help ensure that both partners are on the same page.
Practice
You can actually prepare and experiment without your partner if you're about to experience anal sex for the first time by using an anal training kit! Three to four silicone butt plugs in various sizes are included in the kit, which is designed to help you gradually increase your tolerance and grow used to larger sizes. One crucial point is that, similar to partnered anal sex (see below), any plug or anal vibrator requires the use of lubricant.
Lubricate
Lubricant, lubricant, and more lubrication are something we cannot emphasize enough! The most crucial factor in making backdoor play successful, other than having an honest discussion with your partner, is using the proper lubricant. Apply a large (read: a LOT) amount of lubrication before inserting anything, including penises, as the anus does not lubricate as the vagina does. Use a silicone lubricant that is long-lasting and highly concentrated for an incredibly smooth entrance.
Relax
Just as crucial as lubrication and communication? Calm down. To set the tone and ease your muscles, begin the evening with some foreplay (and perhaps some wine!). Take things gently; have your partner test the waters by entering one or two fingers first, and if you're ready, proceed. The last thing you want is to stiffen up. Anal soothing gel can help you relax both mentally and physically for more comfort.
Protect
To stop bacteria or STIs from spreading during anal intercourse, it's always a good idea to use a condom, even if you're pretty comfortable and dedicated to your partner. Additionally, taking a shower or, if you'd rather, an anal douche to clean up beforehand would be a brilliant idea. Finally, avoid switching from anal to vaginal penetration, as this can result in infection if you intend to have vaginal sex during your romp session (or should we say rump?).
