How to Insert and Remove a Butt Plug

We must provide clear and comprehensive guidance on this specific facet of plug-play, even though our article on how a butt plug feels covers many of the details of how to enter and remove one. If you haven't already, I also suggest looking at our butt plug guide.

Starting Off

You can begin inserting the plug after you feel ready and have stretched your anus with your fingers. Start by softly inserting the plug after making sure your anus and it are both well lubricated. Additionally, depending on the kind of substance your plug is made of, make sure you are using the correct type of lubricant.

A Little While Later...

Push the plug in carefully while attempting to deliberately relax the sphincter muscles, which are located around 4 cm inside the rectum.

Even when we are focused on getting the sphincter to perform what we want, it may occasionally refuse to comply and typically contract and release without our conscious awareness. You should continue to remain calm even though this is most likely the result of worry.

The tip of the plug will pass through after your sphincter is relaxed, but if the broader part of the plug begins to flow through, you can still have trouble with your sphincter clenching up on its own.

If this occurs, pushing should be stopped, and the plug should be left in place until the sphincter relaxes. Repeat this as many times as necessary to get the plug fully inserted.

Removing the Plug

When you're prepared to take out the plug, grasp its stem and begin slowly pulling. The catch is that you have to remove the broadest part of the plug first, rather than inserting it.

This process is sensitive and slow. The sphincter will be reluctant to release it once it has clinched around the narrow portion immediately following the stem. Therefore, you must avoid attempting to remove it by force.

Pulling the plug out in the safest way requires harmony between your sphincter and your hand.

Therefore, when removing the plug, try pushing with your sphincter as though you were having a bowel movement. Then, use your hand to pull the plug out using the stem.

It will appear as though nothing is moving at first, but if you continue to gently pull on the plug with your hand while pulling with your sphincter, it will eventually begin to slide out gradually.

Nearly There

Once the broadest section is removed, the rest of the plug is relatively simple. However, you shouldn't remove it too quickly because the friction could cause some pain and a few tears in your rectum's walls, depending on the material and how long you left it in.

This information is applicable to all butt plug kinds, including tail butt plugs.

You are finished when the plug is securely removed, but remember to clean it immediately afterwards.
