Master
In the BDSM subculture, a Master is a male domineering figure. Usually, enslaved people, or subservient members of the community, are subject to the ultimate authority of their masters.
The phrases "enslaver" and "slave," which characterize these arrangements, give the impression that someone is being coerced, yet this is untrue. A voluntary arrangement whereby enslaved people opt to cede their independence to their masters is known as the master-slave dynamic. In exchange, their masters are in charge of providing for all of their slaves' needs and ensuring their safety. A legal contract can establish the conditions and boundaries of a slave-master relationship.
Because of its historical origin, some people consider the imagery objectionable, even though the master/slave relationship is a type of consensual roleplay or played as part of a dedicated submissive lifestyle.
Typically, a mistress is the female equivalent of a master.
More About Master
The Master may have some or almost complete authority over a slave's life, depending on the type of relationship. For example, in a 24-hour D/s relationship, masters can dictate what their subordinates can wear when they use the restroom and even how they can speak. Naturally, an enslaved person is also required to comply with all sexual requests made by their Master. Total power exchange is the term used to describe this kind of arrangement.
In the BDSM world, genuine master-slave unions resemble conventional marriages. All parties enter into these partnerships voluntarily and commit to them, and they are frequently long-term. Like a wedding band, a collar might represent an enslaved person's devotion to their Master. To formally establish their relationship, some slaves and masters may even decide to hold a collaring ceremony.
