JoEllen is a mental health advocate, researcher, writer, and speaker whose work examines how depression affects relationships and sex. On her award-winning website, The Redhead Bedhead, she has been writing about sex, mental health, and how none of us are broken since 2012. JoEllen has conducted courses all across the country on dating as an introvert, having casual sex politely, managing consent, and sexual communication. Although she has created a sex school, given lengthy speeches about dildos, and visited sex shops, she is happiest and most successful when she writes and speaks on behalf of quiet people who have sex.
